James Timothy Kelly, nicknamed Jim or Jimbo, was an anarchist from the 1960s and a member of the Total Liberation Brigade. Jim was the only truly working-class member of the group. He met Sam Jones during a concert by the Brothers Sunshine in 1968. Jim was arrested during a demonstration where the group threw red paint at an embassy in London's dipolomatic district. When Jim was arrested, one of the Total Liberation Brigade leaders, Fred "Haystacks" Hayes, asked Sam to prove her friend the Doctor was on their side by getting him to get Jim out of jail.
