Jodi was killed by the energy backlash when the Cat-People's ship unintentionally attacked Aysha, who was returning via Thorsuun's reverse tachyon-chronon unit. (PROSE: Invasion of the Cat-People)

Gary Russell assigned most of the characters in Invasion of the Cat-People with a real-world actor who represented his preference for who would play each part in an imaginary televised version of the novel. However, Jodi is one of the few characters not to be assigned one, the other being Adoon.
