Nikola Tesla had a laboratory in New York City.
By 1903, Nikola Tesla transfered most of his work from New York City to his laboratory in Wardenclyffe.
In the 1900s, protesters trespassed in front of the laboratory, protesting against the "death current". While investigating the origin of aliens, who had attacked Tesla near the Niagara Falls, the Thirteenth Doctor and Team TARDIS visited the laboratory. The Doctor was disappointed by what she saw, since she was expecting more. After Harold Green was noticed spying on Tesla, the Doctor, accompanied by Ryan Sinclair and Graham O'Brien, left the laboratory for The Edison Electric Illuminating Company, asking Tesla, Dorothy Skerrit and Yasmin Khan to guard the Orb of Thassor. While the Doctor was absent, Nikola Tesla examined the orb by himself. Suddenly, the Skithra entered the laboratory, threatening to kill Dorothy, and kidnapped Tesla and Yaz. The Doctor moved her TARDIS inside the lab, picked Dorothy up and moved to Wardenclyffe. (TV: Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror)
