Prince of Wallachia

Prince of Wallachia was the highest position of authority in at least 15th century Wallachia. As a principality, it was led by a prince, locally known as a voivode, rather than a king. At least three persons were known to hold the title: Vlad the Great, known as "the Dragon"; Vlad III, referred to as "Dracula" after his father's murder; and Radu, also called "the Handsome".
