Richard Bignell is a writer for Doctor Who Magazine. He also contributes to Nothing at the End of the Lane and edited the fanzine's 2009 publication, Farewell Great Macedon, which presented two unproduced First Doctor teleplays and material written by Bignell and other DWM writers.

He also wrote the reference book Doctor Who On Location and the fan documentary Doctor Who - The Making of Fury from the Deep released with Loose Cannon Productions.
