Roni Bandara was a parallel universe counterpart of N-Space's Roni Bandara. After learning that there was only 8 days left before a meteor would hit and destroy the Earth, Roni decided to commit suicide rather than wait for it to happen. He realised what he was doing was wrong and pulled out of the attempt by the time Rose Tyler and his grandson Mook Jayasundera came to find him. His asthma was triggered by the events and Rose and Mook went to get more medicine for this. His disapproved of Mook's love for Patrice Okereke not because of his beliefs but because Patrice was a criminal. (AUDIO: The Last Party on Earth)
