Re: images
Hi, please see Tardis:Images and perspective#In-universe articles for the full explanation, but the short version is that covers of audios, comics, books, etc. are only considered as a last resort if we don't have images from the story itself. Since the character does have a comic image, we use that.
And please in the future add your messages on a talk page to the bottom of the page, not in the middle. Putting it in the middle makes it harder to find. Thanks Shambala108 ☎ 04:36, April 3, 2020 (UTC)
- Please read through Tardis:Image use policy and Tardis:File naming conventions to see why you image was deleted (both times). As I explained at the deletion edit summary, the image was uploaded, both times with "no license, narrower than 420px, "gibberish" file name". Please don't upload new images until you've read through both policies. OncomingStorm12th (talk) 00:47, April 16, 2020 (UTC)
- Yes. File:Cleopatra.jpg was nearly a perfect upload. All it was missing was a license (which I've now added), but please remember to add them in the future. All images added without a license can (and most often are) immediately deleted. To add a license, click on "More options" and fill the last entry of the form that'll appear. OncomingStorm12th (talk) 01:05, April 16, 2020 (UTC)
- How odd. I'm sure I selected a licence. Oh well, thanks. Epsilon the Eternal ☎ 01:14, April 16, 2020 (UTC)

Icon
Hello! Apropos of nothing, been admiring your Panda icon, can't quite place it; where is the illustration from?
Also, I notice you also use it on your Twitter account. I don't — I'm a top hat over there — and I bring this up to confirm that the DM you've just received over there from someone saying they're Scrooge MacDuck from the Wiki is in fact me. Looking forward to a reply there when you get the chance! Cheers! --Scrooge MacDuck ☎ 01:20, June 2, 2020 (UTC)
Hi! The Panda image is of Panda, from the cover of The Panda Book of Horror. I'll check the DM you sent me now. Epsilon the Eternal ☎ 01:28, June 2, 2020 (UTC)
- Oh I did know this was Panda, 100%. Was just wondering what book/illustration it was from. (I don't have that particular anthology—yet!) --Scrooge MacDuck ☎ 01:39, June 2, 2020 (UTC)
Forum attacks
Hi we take Tardis:No personal attacks seriously on this wiki, especially on the forums, so you are blocked for a week for violating the policy. Shambala108 ☎ 16:07, June 3, 2020 (UTC)
RE: Categories 2
No worries. Do you happen to know the more specific citation for the Skrätch Marks page? The Panda Book of Horror is an anthology, so it's one of the 13 short stories that needs to be cited. Per T:CITE, it's the story itself that's the source for in-universe information.

Re: images
Hi, see Help:Image cheat card and Tardis:Infobox images for some guidelines on how to deal with such long vertical images thanks Shambala108 ☎ 01:27, July 1, 2020 (UTC)
Re: Bootstrap paradox
Saw WaltK's edit, and I'd have done much the same. There were two things wrong with your edit:
- in the text of an in-universe articles, story names can only be given as sources in parentheses. You can't say things like "In PROSE: Doctor Who and the Example of Death, the Doctor may or may not have created a holographic Baron Von Frankenstein". That only goes in "Continuity" sections, and even there, only with some debate.
- if it is not confirmed that this is what Iris did, and there is no in-universe discussion of the possibility by characters, then it is "speculation" and can only be place in the BTS section, no matter how you write it.
Cheers! --Scrooge MacDuck ☎ 18:25, July 7, 2020 (UTC)
Re: images
Hi on your talk page are several links to our image policies. If you haven't read them all yet, you must do so if you want to keep your contributions on the wiki. Admins and other users can't keep cleaning up after users who don't understand or read the policies. It's up to every user to understand the policies thanks Shambala108 ☎ 00:53, July 18, 2020 (UTC)
- I was using visual editor at the time, so I had no idea that I had done anything wrong. :p

The Snowmen
Hey, sorry for bothering.
Would you be able to provide the sources for the Great Intelligence's lack of licensing. I'm really interested. Thanks! DiSoRiEnTeD1 ☎ 21:47, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
Edits
Hi, let me be perfectly clear here. You are not to take action on issues (as at Fanboys (short story)) that are currently under discussion (as at Talk:Fanboys (short story)), and an issue is not considered finished until an admin rules it so. Thanks Shambala108 ☎ 02:06, August 21, 2020 (UTC)
Block
Hi, given the apology and explanation you left on the Parks & Rec wiki, I've unblocked you. It took so long because I don't often go on that wiki and only just found the message. If something similar occurs in the future, first try editing your talk page. It's an option for admins to block or not block the user's access to their own talk page, so you try that first. If you can't post on your own talk page, the best place to go next is the Community Central wiki. Other people have left similar messages there for me, so I do check that one a few times a week. You can find a link to the Community Central wiki by going to the top bar on any page and clicking the button that says "wikis"; the drop down menu will include a link to the CC wiki. 2.2 Updated with new information
Re: Profile picture
Hey Epsilon the Eternal! Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my page about my profile picture! I left a message for you there but I'll repeat it here because if you're interested you can build a Drashig out of LEGO on your own using some instructions ;)
- Epsilon the Eternal: wow thanks Epsilon the Eternal!! I'm so glad you like it! I used to do a lot of LEGO Doctor Who, *you can find a bunch on my flickr page if you search "Jared If only I remembered..." and I have an instagram page, just search up "ummmmwho" or "Jared If only I remembered..."
- If you're REALLY interested I have also posted instructions on how to build the LEGO Drashig. Just go to youtube and type up "LEGO Doctor Who Drashig".
- There's also instructions for the 13th Doctor's TARDIS on the same channel (my youtube channel).
- Haha sorry for the self promotion, if it helps I don't build with LEGO anymore but at least it's given me more time to edit the wiki!! *NOTE: because of off-site links and a warning from Scrooge, I have removed the links and instead given you directions on how to find the items. DoctorQuoi ☎ 19:42, August 31, 2020 (UTC)DoctorQuoi
- Self promotion is fine with me. I like to collect custom LEGO Doctor Who (as well as the Harry Potter theme), so I'll definitely check out everything you linked. Epsilon the Eternal ☎ 19:51, August 31, 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks Epsilon! I had to remove the links for now but if you need a way to find them again just leave a message on my talk page and I'll be happy to go into detail about finding them again. That's so cool that you collect customs! Any particular favourite? Do you like to post your stuff online? If so I'd love to see it! Also I am slowly getting rid of my creations if you are interested in any, on those accounts that I mentioned I have my email address listed there, fire me an email and let me know if you want anything, I'm happy to send it over!
