PKD was a pharmaceutical company.

Albert Foster was head scientist of the research department at PKD. After approaching the Cyberon vessel and being influenced by the Cyberon, Albert took the vessel to PKD, in order to produce Cyberon. (PROSE: Flight of the Cyberons)

Tom Mordley also worked at PKD. He made a snarky comment to remind Lauren that PKD was sending St John's Hospital lots of money.

After George Cooper died, Tom insisted on doing his autopsy on PKD, rather than on St John's. (PROSE: Cyberon)
