[[Galanar]], [[Elaria]], and [[Morli]] were Demons.  Since the Enemy [[Dalek]]s attacked the station, the Demons never did imprint on their creators, and Morli was activated before her conditioning was complete.  Galanar imprinted on [[Georgi Selestru]] and worked as an agent of the [[Galactic Union]], while Amur imprinted on the Enemy Daleks, serving them. The Demons were a type of advanced Roboman developed by Daleks allied with the Earth Alliance during the Enemy-Alliance Dalek War.

The Alliance Daleks brought human criminals to the Pkowik system station for "rehabilitation". While there, they were subjected to a number of genetic enhancements, including cellular invisibility, a degree of shape-shifting, and the ability to project a psychic mind-trick to make them seem trustworthy to just about anyone. They would also imprint on the first face they looked upon — much like ducklings — making them unswerving in their loyalty. The plan was to use them as undercover agents for the Dalek cause. (AUDIO: The Demons)

An attack by Enemy Daleks destroyed most of the equipment on the station. Only three subjects had made it to the advanced stages of the project by then.
