Dr Lennox was a disgraced scientist who worked for General George Carrington.
Biography
Believing himself to be "grossly underpaid", Dr Lennox falsified his college's accounts and the results of his research. (PROSE: The Ambassadors of Death) He met Liz Shaw at the University of Cambridge (TV: The Ambassadors of Death) and was, some time later, stripped of his post and degrees for his malpractice. (PROSE: The Ambassadors of Death)
With nowhere to go, Dr Lennox agreed to work for General George Carrington, replacing Professor Heldorf. He took care of the ambassadors and assisted Liz in her ultimately unsuccessful escape attempt. Later, he went to UNIT to tell them about the astronauts and, whilst waiting to meet Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, was murdered on Reegan's orders with an isotope. (TV: The Ambassadors of Death)
Appearance
Dr Lennox was a "balding, ratty-faced little man". (PROSE: The Ambassadors of Death)
