Is there any official proof that Children of Earth is actually supposed to be series 3 of Torchwood as its only one story and sort of feels like more of a special. Just a thought. | Is there any official proof that Children of Earth is actually supposed to be series 3 of Torchwood as its only one story and sort of feels like more of a special. :Yes, everyone involved in its production calls it Series 3 in interviews. -- Noneofyourbusiness 03:20, December 28, 2009 (UTC)
I just added a reference to the events of Small Worlds. It was inferred that the Faeries always have "Chosen" children in the world somewhere, it's rather surprising that they didnt attack anyone related giving the children to the 456 or even the 456 ambassador itself for their race interfering wtih their Chosen children. Chances are low that any of the 10% chosen were Chosen, but the 456 on several instances still forced children to speak and act against their will, something that's been shown in Small Worlds to piss the faeries off royally. - 121.44.244.88 12:48, November 29, 2009 (UTC) | I just added a reference to the events of Small Worlds. :It is not implied that there are always Chosen Ones. It is in fact implied that as the Lost Lands are going, so are the Chosen Ones. "There will be no more Chosen Ones". The fairies subvert this by going to the past. Given that they were willing to kill the world to get Jasmine, the implication is that there were no others. -- Noneofyourbusiness 03:19, December 28, 2009 (UTC)
==Precise date== | |||
Where does this precise date — September 2009, at 8:40 am GMT — come from? I can't find it anywhere in the episode as televised. I get the time of 8:40, that's on the tower clock, but nowhere do I find a reference to the month, which I assume leads to the "GMT" assessment. I would like to know as well. And it would be 9:40 GMT, because the UK uses daylight-saving time. 213.182.108.131 02:28, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
:I'm bringing this thread back to life. I don't see anything to support September being the month. Just because the prequel scenes happened in September, that doesn't mean the 'X Years Later' means the present day is also September. It seems a bit of a stretch. I thought we use substantial evidence to back-up things on this Wiki? Any ideas? ::Before we use the Summer Holidays as an excuse, the 2008/9 school year in England ended on 22nd July 2009. There's no reason why it can't take place on the airdates. Could we fact check the September month? I'm rewatching it now and there's no mentioning of a month. I propose without solid evidence, we remove the month. :Apparently, Long Time Dead is a Torchwood novel set in October 2009 and references the 456 event as being "one month ago". I haven't read this novel so I can't speak on its behalf. At least we may have found the answer. Sorry if my messages looked like spam, I like to get to the bottom of things haha. Is it ever specified what part of the country the scenes where Jack meets his daughter and granddaughter are? -- Tybort (talk page) 18:05, November 22, 2011 (UTC)

I've moved the uncredited cast to the talk page until they can be properly sourced (no IMDB). Shambala108 ☎ 04:59, October 18, 2012 (UTC)
