Kate was the lodger of Sophie Gould. She was studying graphic design in Cardiff.
Despite living together, Kate and Sophie never really developed much of a bond. She would often come home, babbling about what a stressful day she had had at work.
Caught by surprise, Kate was killed and decapitated during a zombie outbreak in 2009. A zombie attacked Sophie in her kitchen, clenching Kate's head in his fist by her hair, before dropping it on the kitchen floor. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead)
