It was the location of the [[Cyberdyne]] - a vast computer that created virtual lives for the citizens of Goronos that only required them to make yes or no decisions. The Cyberdyne had basically enslaved all of the members of Goronos' population.  The Eighth Doctor, Anji, Fitz, and Jamon de le Rocas found themselves on Goronos and fell victim to the Cyberdyne, however, due to the complexeties of the human - and even more so, the Gallifreyan mind their virtual lives became surreal dreamscapes ([[PROSE]]: ''[[The Slow Empire (novel)|The Slow Empire]]'')

Goronos was an administrative base for the Slow Empire. It was the location of the Cyberdyne - a vast computer that created virtual lives for the citizens of Goronos that only required them to make yes or no decisions. The Cyberdyne had basically enslaved all of the members of Goronos' population. The Eighth Doctor, Anji, Fitz, and Jamon de le Rocas found themselves on Goronos and fell victim to the Cyberdyne, however, due to the complexeties of the human - and even more so, the Gallifreyan mind their virtual lives became surreal dreamscapes (PROSE: The Slow Empire)
