The Netherweald was an alter-time realm originally planned to be located within the Nemontemi, the five Nameless Days of the Mexica calendar. However, Goralschai betrayed House Meddhoran who intended to flee there and instead used a memecore to place them inside the lifespan of Todd Calavero, a boy who was set adrift in an oxbow existence and scheduled to die thirteen days after this happened. Since Todd and by extension the Netherweald could not sustain their own life, they drew life from House Meddhoran to continue. (PROSE: Against Nature)
