:I think the Homeworld treatment requires that the ''term'' "gods" be used in the licensed story related to Time Lords. I did plan on making a discussion about this, but after the forum threads were back, since I wanted to have the original precedent to refer to. ::Hmm, quite right. As it is, the first paragraph of our plot summary for ''[[Underworld (TV story)|Underworld]]'' literally uses the pipe switch <nowiki>[[Time Lord|the gods]]</nowiki> to refer to the gods of the Minyans, so I'm sure that criterion is satisfied as well. – [[User:NateBumber|n8]] ([[User talk:NateBumber|☎]]) 02:31, 8 March 2021 (UTC) | ::Hmm, quite right. :::It really, really is, very explicitly too.

{{quote|Well, the Minyans thought of us as gods, you see, which was all very flattering and we were new at space-time explorations, so we thought we could help.|[[The Doctor]]}}
:::(Dig this pre-FP use of "timeships" for "[[TARDIS]]", by the way.)
:::Mind you, I am not sure the standard works quite how [[User:Najawin]] says it does. There is a transitive property of concepts also. We don't need a pre-FP source which uses the capitalised term "Homeworld" and says "the Homeworld is Gallifrey"; all that is necessary is that a source say "the members of the [[Great House]]s are the [[Time Lord]]s", and if we have ''that'' link, it can follow that "the home planet of the Great Houses", whether it be called "the Homeworld" or "the Planet of Smeerps", is [[Gallifrey]].
:::But yeah, these guys are definitely Time Lords under the Homeworld Principle. [[User:Scrooge MacDuck|Scrooge MacDuck]] [[User talk:Scrooge MacDuck|<span title="Talk to me">☎</span>]] 15:08, 5 April 2021 (UTC) |
