When Flip Jackson told the Sixth Doctor to "do something" to stop his TARDIS from crashing and he said he was trying, she told him "do or do not, don't try." When the Doctor later asked her if she had been "paraphrasing science fiction" at him, Flip said it was something Jared Ramon was always saying to her and that she thought it was from "some dumb old movie". Behind the scenes
- Although Flip claimed she was unsure of the movie she quoted to the Sixth Doctor in Cry of the Vultriss, it is a famous quote by Yoda from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, "Do. Or do not. There is no try."
