Major-General Scobie was an officer in the British Army.
Biography
Scobie had been posted to Burma during World War II and Singapore in the 1950s. (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice) The Brigadier knew of him in 1969 and considered him a blowhard. (PROSE: The Showstoppers)
In the 1970s, he was assigned as the liaison officer between UNIT and the regular army. The Nestene replaced him with an Auton duplicate and placed him in Madame Tussauds in a form of suspended animation. He was eventually freed when the Third Doctor short-circuited his duplicate. Later that year, Scobie had a budget meeting with the Brigadier and Sir John Sudbury. (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice)
