I understand that we've given Gray the surname "Thane" based on his brother's full name Javic Piotr Thane as revealed in (AUDIO: Month 25, R&J). However, is it clear in those audios which parts of "Jack"'s original name are which? Do the people of the Boeshane Peninsula even share family names with eachother? Are they the Javic family, the Javic Piotr family, the Piotr Thane family, or the Thane family, or some other combination? Is one of "Jack"'s three names his mother's forename? Does he have one family name from each parent? If so, which is which? There are too many posibilities to imagine, and yet we seem to have made an assumption that Thane is "Jack"'s (sole) family name and therefore Gray must share it. That might be true if they were of English and/or American heritage, but not of they were of almost any other heritage. I propose that neither Gray nor Franklin are assigned the surname Thane unless they are given it in a reliable source. Is Gray dead? In episode one of season 3 the hub is destroyed and his bodie was there. --Ceryu 14:37, July 11, 2011 (UTC)

Presumably. However, if they ever wanted to bring him back, I'm sure they could find a way around this.--Skittles the hog - talk 15:18, July 11, 2011 (UTC)

And what is the origin of his skar? --Ceryu 19:07, July 11, 2011 (UTC)

This page needs an image of Gray as a child (like one from in one of Jack's flashbacks in Adam and Exit Wounds). TroopDude talk to me 20:32, April 24, 2012 (UTC)

Full name

I propose that neither "Jack" not Gray nor Franklin are assigned the surname Thane unless they are given it in a reliable source. DBD 12:02, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
