Lucinda was a Trakenite, wife of Tremas and mother of Nyssa, to whom she was giving birth when she died. (PROSE: Empire of Death) Following her death, Tremas stopped cultivating his extensive gardens. (PROSE: Asylum)

Nyssa did not believe that her mother nor father would want her to waste her life as Thomas Brewster did, choosing to carve her own future for herself whilst honouring her parents and not forgetting them. (AUDIO: The Haunting of Thomas Brewster) When she closed her eyes, she saw her mother, as well as her father, the Keeper and other Trakenites. (PROSE: Divided Loyalties)

The Creatures on the Other Side showed Nyssa a hallucination of Lucinda made from the darkest parts of her own subconscious. The hallucination told Nyssa that she had been killed by Nyssa's psychic powers during her pregnancy. (PROSE: Empire of Death)
