[[Group Marshal]] [[Stike]] commanded the group, according to his subordinate, [[Major]] [[Varl]]. The two were involved in an operation to give Sontarans the capability of time travel to aid in the war. To do this, they kidnapped [[the Doctor]] in his [[second incarnation]] and extracted his symbiotic nuclei to operate the [[Kartz-Reimer module]]. However, this attempt was foiled by two Doctors (his [[Second Doctor|second]] and [[Sixth Doctor|sixth incarnations]]), [[Joinson Dastari]] and [[Chessene of the Franzine Grig]].
