The United Nations Intelligence Taskforce (British Section), (PROSE: The Ambassadors of Death) also known as UNIT-UK or UNIT UK, was the branch of UNIT that operated in the United Kingdom. (PROSE: The Shadows of Avalon)

In 1957, General Farquhar was tasked with setting up UNIT's British division and did so with the help of Prentis. (TV: Survivors of the Flux)

Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart was the Commanding Officer of UNIT UK. He once spent a month trying to prevent Geneva from cutting UNIT UK's budget by 25 percent. In 1997, Tom Ryder knew that Sarah Jane Smith was a civilian liaison to UNIT-UK from their reserve list of civilian staff. He learned that she joined in 1978 and assisted the the Doctor until 1982.
