References
- Navigator Newman reports contact was lost with the rest of the Zero X crew six hours previously when the Martian Excursion Vehicle disappeared into a freak dust storm.
- Lurie states that if he sent men out searching for the Zero X crew they might never come back, repeating that Kahra has enough to worry about with the Mysteron City on its doorstep.
- World President Lhomel thinks that where humans have evolved physically, Astrans have evolved mentally.
- Lhomel claims the Mysterons know that even at this grave moment in Earth's affairs, even the threat of destruction could not keep him away from Unity City.
Story notes
- This story is another crossover with Zero X, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons and Fireball XL5.

- Controller of Kahra Lionel Lurie has reiterated that Zero X should expect no help from the colony as they don't possess enough fuel. (PROSE: 'Jinx Ship' Blasts Off For Mars)
- World President Lhomel is attempting to urge trust in the people of Astra. (COMIC: Ceasefire — But War Tension Mounts..., President Offers Peace...)
- Lhomel again accuses the Mysterons of causing the battle on the Astran border despite not having all the facts yet. (PROSE: Captain Scarlet in Death Crash!)
- Although previously thought to have died in a jet crash, Captain Scarlet is alive. (PROSE: Captain Scarlet in Death Crash!)
