Laura was the wife of a man who threw a brick at a Dalek during the Dalek invasion of Earth in 2009.

After refusing to surrender to the Daleks, Laura's husband instructed her and their son, Simon, to get back into their house and they ran inside.
For their dissent, the family were killed by the Daleks, who used "maximum extermination" to destroy the house, leaving no survivors. (TV: The Stolen Earth)
