Sassparilla was a member of King Muggy's gang. He described her as a good guard dog, but one who might bite his fingers.
When the Bruce Master and Lila Kreeg crashed in Notting Hill, Sassparilla threatened to set fire to the flier that they had barricaded themselves in and took them to King Muggy. She was forced to give access to Vienna Salvatori, who initially pretended to be selling Artie to King Muggy, and, after Artie's limpet mine detonated, she told Vienna that she would kill her.
