George Spenton-Foster (born 11 November 1926 as Thomas George Spenton[1], died 26 December 1993[2]) directed the Doctor Who television stories Image of the Fendahl and The Ribos Operation. Tom Baker described him as a "lovely, camp old thing".[3]

He also directed episodes of Out of the Unknown (on which he also served as associate producer on the first two seasons) and Blake's 7.
