The Assimilated Territories was comprised of planets conquered by the Fifth Axis, who plundered each of them for their treasures. Kasagrad was a neutral planet located within the territory, blockaded by the Fifth Axis and forced into compliance until they invaded in January 2600. The Axis' defeat resulted in them having to abandon that sector of the Territories. (PROSE: Professor Bernice Summerfield and the Doomsday Manuscript)
