This topic might have a better name.

Elite Guard Dalek (Asylum of the Daleks). A black-dome denotes an Elite Guard Dalek, but not all Elite Guards are necessarily of the Emperor's Personal Guard.

Talk about it here.

An Elite Guard Dalek, identical to the Emperor's Personal Guard which served in the Dalek Civil War, was present in the Dalek Asylum. Because of the nanocloud affecting Amy Pond's mind, she believed the insane Dalek was a dancing person. It was seen spinning around before it was destroyed when the Dalek who attempted to kill Amy and The Doctor via self-destruct reversed and exploded killing the other Daleks as well. (TV: Asylum of the Daleks)
