The Auton Trilogy was a series of three direct-to-video films produced by BBV Productions. They featured UNIT fighting against the Nestene and the Autons and were officially licensed by Robert Holmes.

For April Fools' Day in 2022, BBV jokingly announced a spurious fourth film in the series, Auton 4: Nestene Revelations, which, judging by the cover, would also have featured Giles, a Krynoid, and a mustachioed Cyberon called "Cyber Ron".[1]
