Lieutenant Ngaiyo was a soldier working for the Dione-Kisumu Company. He was codenamed Turquoise.
He was one of the DKC soldiers sent to investigate the outbreak of psychic powers on Yemaya 4. The cure brought by Bernice Summerfield and Roz Forrester from GRUMPY made him lose his psychic abilities as well. After the Dione-Kisumu Company's attempt to destroy the colony was stopped, he was taken with James Munoru, Seketo and the colonist Zinkiewicz to Youkali for treatment. (PROSE: SLEEPY)
