Melina (also known as Technician 38) was an alternate universe version of Melanie Bush. She came from an Earth where the Roman Empire never fell. She had a sister named Anabel, which surprised Melanie Bush when she found out, since her sister Anabel had died in an accident when she was young. The Sixth Doctor of that universe freed Melina from slavery and she became his companion. She was killed by Monica Lamprey. (PROSE: Spiral Scratch)
