Dave was an estate agent at Hackett Property Services. In 2014 he was cast into the Void when a Fracture temporally displaced him and inhabited his body. Later, when the Fracture inhabiting him chased Clara Oswald across a road, Dave's body was hit by a double decker bus and the Fracture left this body to inhabit the bus driver instead.
