Heyo, I feel like the name "Possibility Generator's universe" is a bit confusing due to the Generator encompassing many different realities. Additionally, I'm not sure its the most intuitive title. I would suggest instead "Auld Mortality universe", reflecting that the primary divergence point of this world is the force named "Auld Mortality" which has shaped Time Lord history since Rassilon. Even if a reader was unfamiliar with the story, it falls into the Inferno Earth pattern of intuitive naming which is also in-universe. CoT ? 23:20, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
- I agree that the inevitable linguistic confusion between "the world in which the Possibility Generator existed" and "a world created by the Possibility Generator" makes this a suboptimal name. What troubles me about your proposed alternative is that we don't currently have a page about Auld Mortality-the-in-universe-thing. I'd feel better about your suggestion if we did — could you create it, albeit as a bit skeletal? Scrooge MacDuck ⊕ 23:23, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
- I'm more than happy to take the suggestion. I had chosen this because, out of the content available from this wiki (and my memory of this story) it was a decent enough standout. However, the semantics had crossed my mind and Scrooge even called me out on that yesterday. Given that an unarguable superior alternative arose, I'll proceed to make all the relevant changes. Thanks for having suggested it! OncomingStorm12th ☎ 14:59, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
