Colour Silurian Overlay was a 2|entertain DVD documentary about the restoration of footage from Doctor Who and the Silurians. The title is a play on "colour separation overlay", a special effects procedure.
It explained the various methods used to fix problems such as dust, image distortion and damaged frames. The results of these improvements were compared to the VHS version of the serial.
