Susa was an Egyptian slave during the reign of Ptolemy Lagus.

He was part of a group of slaves that were mining gold when the First Doctor and Barbara Wright showed up. Because Barbara resembled the queen, he wondered where her guards were. He attacked the Doctor, but tripped over the Doctor's cane and fell unconscious. When he awoke, he overheard the Doctor's and Barbara's conversation and went to fetch Arrhidaeus, captain of the guard. Arrhidaeus, on seeing Barbara, had one of his men kill Susa. (PROSE: The Book of Shadows)
