Phil Bevan (1953-1998) was an artist who provided line drawings for several short stories and other features published in Doctor Who Magazine and earlier in fanzines. He also created the cover artwork for the 1987 VHS release of Wartime, which appears on the reverse of the double-sided cover of the 2015 DVD release. In 2022 Stephen James Walker compiled a biography for Phil featuring many of his illustrations for Doctor Who titled The Art of Phil Bevan.
