TV21 Stop Press was a series of short stories originally published in TV Century 21 across 1968.
It served as a direct replacement to TV21's cover stories and was a kind of fusion between that format and the earlier Dateline 2066 series, depicting an in-universe version of TV Century 21 reporting on the events seen in the other series and comic strips of the magazine on a weekly basis. TV21 Stop Press was brought to an end soon after the merger with TV Tornado but was one of many series revived for a one-off special edition of TV21 in 2014.
Crossovers with the DWU[[edit] | [edit source]]
As the conceit of TV Century 21 was that all its series took place in a single universe, several TV21 Stop Press stories crossed over with elements from the Doctor Who universe. For the most part, this consisted of references to or appearances from Unity City, the capital of the World Government which was first introduced in The Daleks comic strip. However, for its revival, the series was involved in a story featuring the planet Astra, originally created by David Whitaker for the First Doctor television story The Rescue.
The following TV21 Stop Press stories contained DWU elements and are thus covered on this Wiki:
