An obliteration module was a Kastrian space-vessel used for executions.
For his destruction of the spatial barriers, Eldrad was sentenced to death. He was launched intro space but, due to fears that the solar winds unleashed by the destruction of the barriers would sever control, King Rokon ordered it to be detonated prematurely. Commander Zazzka, who controlled the craft from Outer Dome Six, complied, detonating the module at nineteen, rather than twenty-five spans. This allowed Eldrad to survive, with his hand falling to Earth, allowing for his restoration. (TV: The Hand of Fear)
