Professor Farouk taught Mathematics at St Oscar's University.

Biography

Farouk went on the St Oscar's expedition to Perfecton in 2593 and found a puzzle in symbolic logic in the Perfecton city, which he argued with Ranjit Singh over. The two of them later worked out the function of the Perfecton gun that Menlove Stokes found and argued over the name of the phenomenon; whilst Singh suggested the Singh Farouk effect, Farouk preferred the Farouk Singh effect.

Farouk and Epstein weighed decorative items in their hands and fled from the Grel when Stokes told them to go. He was amazed when Thooo told them about the Green and wondered why he had not joined his people by shooting himself with a Green gun. He helped fight the Grel, tripping one up, and was rescued with the other academics by the Winton, restored by Bernice Summerfield. (PROSE: Oh No It Isn't!)
