Griffin, an invisible man, was one of the members of the Sisyphean Society's senior circle in the Land of Fiction. The Master killed him along with the other members of the Society. Griffin is the title character in H. G. Wells' novella The Invisible Man, which was adapted into a comic and released in Doctor Who Weekly with a Fourth Doctor framing narrative in the Tales from the TARDIS series.
