Have to say that this one flummoxes me. There is no IMDb page for any "Ian Fairburn", which is a bit weird, given the apparent age of the voice in Catch-1782. It is possible that he is "Ian Fairbairn" from The Invasion, Inferno, and other serials. The voice SOUNDS the right sort of age for that. And he was alive as of 2005, according to http://www.recons.com/biogs/fairbairn.htm. So he certainly could have done Catch-1782, since it was recorded in October, 2004. But Big Finish have the actor in 1782 as "Fairburn", which is more than a one-letter typo. I think it would actually take a direct question to Big Finish to resolve the matter for sure.
