Acanthus the Talesmith, later known as Heskith the Pauper, was a storyteller in Atlantis who became a Hierophant.
Biography[[edit]]
As Acanthus[[edit]]
Acanthus lived in Atlantis and told stories in the market for money. As an old man, he required an assistant to help him with transcription, washing his clothes and buying his food, a job for which he hired Bernice Summerfield when she arrived on his doorstep. He informed her of the customs of Atlantis and became a friend to her over several weeks.
When the Kraken attacked and Benny told him that she planned on going to the Queen for answers, Acanthus told her that she was being an idiot but went with her to the Bronze Mountain regardless. He found a pegasus for her to get to the Palace of Stone and gave her a piece of parchment which read "the sky's no limit", telling her that it would bring her luck. (AUDIO: The Kraken's Lament)
As Heskith the Pauper[[edit]]
Acanthus was remapped and became Heskith the Pauper, a blind homeless man who sold stories to children. Benny recognised him whilst at the market, but he had no memory of her and was afraid of her, believing that she was accusing him of plagiarism as his story seemed to be about her. (AUDIO: The Temple of Questions)
As Heskith the Hierophant[[edit]]
