Brian Cobby (12 October 1929-31 October 2012[1]) voiced the Oroog in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story The Creed of the Kromon.

Cobby has one of the most recognisable voices in the United Kingdom. He was the voice of the Speaking Clock from 1985 to 2007. He has played that "role" fictionally in the fourth instalment of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio series.
