Alan Hart (17 April 1935[1]-16 January 2021[2]) was Controller of BBC One from 1981 to 1984. He worked with John Nathan-Turner to find ways to have a twentieth anniversary special in November 1983 without removing Peter Davison from the very popular Sink or Swim cast.
