Max Adrian (born in Ireland [1] on 1 November 1902-19 January 1973[2]) played Priam in the Doctor Who television story The Myth Makers.

Career

Adrian was a well-known actor, having appeared frequently in the theatre. After Doctor Who, he appeared in episodes of The Baron and Adam Adamant Lives!, but is best known for playing Senator Ludicrus Sextus in eight episodes of Up Pompeii!.

Personal life

He was romantically partnered with Laurier Lister, with whom he had worked on several projects.[3][additional sources needed]
