Mr Richards was a musician in his younger days. As a patient at a hospital in Leeds in 2011, he was a deaf old man. When the Eleventh Doctor had caused a Harmonelid to escape from a young boy's ear (Danny), the Harmonelid settled in Mr Richard's ear. No longer risking any harm, it was left to share its music, making an old man very happy. (COMIC: Earworm)
