The set consisted of unabridged readings of the first three ''Doctor Who'' novelisations as originally published by [[Frederick Muller]] in the mid-1960s. On 7 November 2005 BBC Audiobooks Ltd published a limited edition tin ''Doctor Who:Travels in time and space'', comprised of readings on CD by [[William Russell]] of the first three Doctor Who novelizations, as originally published by Frederick Muller Ltd. with music score and special effects by Simon E Power.
The three books are read by [[William Russell]], who played [[Ian Chesterton]] in the three stories featured.


The recordings were enhanced with music score and special effects by Simon E Power. The accompanying sleeve notes also reproduced the illustrations from inside the books as well as covers from different editions. Each used the [[Chris Achilleos]] Target edition covers on both the CD jewel cases and individual CDs.

Doctor Who: Travels in Time and Space was a limited edition boxed set released by BBC Audio on 7 November 2005.
