Jaxa was a former Time Agent, whose primary responsibilities included going back in time to recover material from the past that had been lost during archival clear-outs.
Sabbath hired Jaxa for his crew when she nearly suffocated while travelling to a lunar colony after she materialised three decades before the colony would be founded. She was apparently killed when Jonah Cosgrove shot her while she was materialising from a teleport; while her suit was bulletproof, Cosgrove managed to shoot her at just the right time for the bullet to materialise inside her.
