Cars was the basis of a LEGO Duplo set which was sold at Sanderson & Grainger in 2011. Its box art featured a car with eyes next to a cactus. (TV: Closing Time)

Behind the scenes

Although not stated in Closing Time, Cars is a Pixar film.

Cars 2 contains a reference to Doctor Who, with a scene where Holley Shiftwell and Cars are captured and tied up inside Big Ben, with Holley determining that she must change the direction of the clock to escape, stating "if I can just reverse the polarity".
