The '''Bandits''' were huge, savage creatures that ran amok throughout the town of [[Arkansas XVl Colony Base One|Dustville]] every noon, causing damage and stealing supplies. The bandits were composed of living crystals and hid in the wastes outside the town. The heat from the twin [[star|suns]] created a chemical change that brought the bandits to life for short periods of time. When they refused to live peacefully alongside the settlers the [[Tenth Doctor]] (with [[Ben McGill]]'s help), took away their physical form using rain (created by atmospheric excitation).
