Crantle was a resident of Christmas. He worked as a lead snow runner and in between trips he tended to the dogs. One day he watched what he thought was a meteor shower and went to investigate, hoping that he might find precious metals to trade. Instead he was confronted by an Ice Warrior, either Essbur or Zontan, and was murdered after assaulting the warrior in an attempt to escape him. (PROSE: Let it Snow)
